Hello Angel,

The first place to start for your question about the decorations is: what is the theme to your party? Is it baby ducks? Baby blocks? Colors of the nursery? Or is it "baby boy"?

If it is "baby boy", then you can always decorate with the color blue. Blue balloons, blue teddy bears placed around the room, blue or "baby boy" plates and napkins, and really anything that is baby-ish in the color blue. So, it just depends on how much decorating you want to do. You can keep it simple or you can go all out with the decorations.

As far as the games are concerned, that is pretty much a personal preference. The games that I think are great for a baby shower may not be your favorites. Please check out our games section of the site to browse through various types. Go to: http://www.preggiepeggy.com/game.htm

While selecting a game, keep these thoughts in mind: the time you have allotted for each game (if you have only 20 minutes for games, but have 45 min. worth of games, then that might not work), your guest's comfort in playing certain games (some may not want to get up and be the center of attention), and the cost of each particular game and/or the time needed to set it up. Some games take only minutes to gather together, while others can be more time-consuming.

I hope that helps you out a bit. Please contact me if you need any additional information. Have a great party!

Take care,
Peggy
