Hello Bertha,
My question to you is: if you play the game strictly in Spanish, will
your English speaking guests understand too? If so, then it will be
pretty easy to make up some bingo cards with Spanish words and use those.
Or, you can play this twist on a bingo game. Then, both English and
Spanish speaking guests can play!
Give each guest a blank bingo grid. Ask them to fill in the blank boxes
with items that they think the mom-to-be will get for her baby shower.
As she is opening her gifts, the guests will cross off the ones they
get right. Whoever gets "bingo", a vertical, horizontal or
diagonal line, wins! This is fun for the guests because they have something
to do while the mom is opening her gifts. It also saves on time by playing
a game and opening gifts at the same time. Plus, the guests can write
their words in both English and Spanish.
To make up some inexpensive bingo cards, draw a square in the middle
of a piece of paper and divide it up with two vertical and two horizontal
lines ( to make nine spaces or use more dividing lines for more blocks).
Make several copies of that piece of paper.
Hope that helps you out a bit. If you have any additonal questions or
need any more ideas, please contact me.
Take care,
Peggy
