Baby Shower Favors

Baby Food Jar Pictures:
Use empty baby food jars, remove the labels. Scan the picture of the mom to be and dad to be (when they were babies)and put it on the jar. On the label, next to the picture you can write Thank You, the date of the shower. Tie a pretty ribbon around the jar and fill the jar with chocolate.
Thanks to Gaby B. for this idea!

Baby Bottle Bath Salts:
I have a cute idea for a favor, that I was surprised didnt show up on this. Take a baby bottle, any size you are willing to buy and whatever fits. Buy some bath salts, pink and white for a girl, blue and white for a little boy, fill them up and tie with the according color ribbon! Also GREAT for wedding showers(colors according to the wedding colors)

- Thanks Anna!

Seed Packets:
Hand out packets of seeds such as "baby's breath" or "baby blue eyes". Write out a meaningful rhyme on a small piece of paper and attach to the packet with ribbon. Or print out labels and stick to the front of the seed packet. The saying can refer to how "the mom-to-be is growing a child in her belly...here are some seeds for you to grow". It symbolizes life.

Chocolate Treats:
Go to your local craft store and buy molds for candy in the shape of anything baby-ish (stork, bottle, bears, ducks, etc.) and make chocolate treats for you guests. You can make individual pieces or lollipops in various shapes. They don't take too long to make, are fairly inexpensive and everyone likes chocolate, so your guests will enjoy your efforts! You'll find personalized chocolate lollipops to be a BIG hit with guests.

Baby Bottle:
Buy small 5oz baby bottles in clear plastic. Buy small candies in the colors of the theme or pink/white, blue/white, or blue/pink colors. Fill the baby bottles with the candies and tie a small ribbon at the top. Type out a little tag with the mom-to-be's name and the date of the party. Paper punch the tag and loop the ribbon through to secure it to the bottle.

Candles
Use baby food jars to hold votive candles. Tie pink or blue ribbon around the jar.
Thanks to Debbie H. for this favor idea!

Pink or Blue votive candles, baby shower scented candles, and picture frames are all nice favors and prizes for a baby shower.
