Normally, baby showers are given in either the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy. The ninth month is risking a possible early delivery and throwing the party in the first trimester is uncommon. This could be due to the risk of miscarriage, which is more likely to happen in the first trimester compared to later in the pregnancy.
